Web-based, always-on, actually-useful guidelines
Project Overview
I began working with MG Europe back in the Spring of 2023, helping them anglicising SIAC’s original signage guidelines (originated in China) for the European retailers.

On the basis of successfully delivering the work we were invited to look at a wider scope - one that began at a facility level and to create a new design pattern for the retail experience.

In support of that programme I planned, wrote, designed and built a Resources Hub dedicated to sharing the Retail Identity.

It's web-based and intentionally designed to overcome the usual hurdles that guideline portals present - namely, all the information you need to share is usually designed by brand agencies is published as PDF’s.

Now MG’s Resource Hub always on, always up-to-date, can be rapidly revised - and as it’s delivered in any web browser, the team can forward a url which drops the recipient on an exact page, with the information they need to discuss or share.
My contribution to this
I've been collaborating with the team at MG Europe over the last year or so, on a programme to support the implementation of retail standards for the hugely popular and successful brand, as it establishes the marque as a leader in value-based EV models - and sets the scene for the 100-year-old brand’s next chapter.
